Ecology
Lloydbore's ecology team work across the terrestrial, freshwater aquatic and coastal sectors.
We undertake ecological appraisals, complete all protected and priority species surveys, design mitigation strategies and produce impact assessments to inform project design and planning. We also undertake on-site ecological mitigation works and offer a full Ecological Clerk of Works service.
We encourage our clients to commission initial ecological scoping surveys as early as possible in the project planning process, to help avoid costly delays.
Our ecologists work closely with our landscape, arboriculture and technical teams and a broad range of external partners to design out potential constraints and maximise site biodiversity at the master planning stage.
We provide robust, useful, pragmatic advice across the lifespan of a project - from project feasibility to practical completion and post-development monitoring.
